A Strategic Partner in Global Education
International education has two sides that rarely meet cleanly. Institutions need enrolment growth they can defend — the right students, properly screened, arriving on time and staying the course. Students need a route through a system that changes rules faster than most people can track.
Sevenseas Consultancy works across both. We operate as a strategic partner to universities, colleges and schools, and as a direct guidance channel for students and the counsellor network that supports them. That dual position is deliberate: understanding what actually moves a student’s decision is what makes institutional recruitment strategy work.
Two channels. One operating model.
For institutions (B2B)
We design and run international recruitment as an integrated system — market strategy, agent network governance, lead conversion, application processing, visa readiness and reporting. Partner institutions get operational capacity and compliance discipline without building either from scratch.
For students and counsellors (B2C)
We guide students through course selection, application, documentation and visa preparation across our destination markets — working directly and through a network of schools and independent counsellors. Every recommendation is made against the student’s profile, not against a commission table.
The connection
Most recruitment consultancies see one side of the market. Because we work both, our institutional advice is informed by live evidence of what students actually respond to — which programmes attract enquiries, where financial evidence breaks down, which destinations are gaining ground and why.
What we believe
Quality is a compliance issue, not a marketing one
A poorly matched applicant becomes a refusal, a withdrawal or a regulatory question. We screen for fit at the front of the funnel because correcting it there costs a conversation. Correcting it later costs a licence.
Transparency is not a feature we charge for
Partners see the same pipeline data, agent performance and campaign spend that we do. Reporting that only ever looks good isn’t reporting.
Local knowledge doesn't scale by accident
Every source market has its own documentation norms, financial evidence conventions and misrepresentation risks. We build market-specific controls rather than exporting one process everywhere and hoping.
Alignment beats persuasion
Our commercial model is built so that our outcomes move with yours. It removes the argument about whose interests a recommendation is really serving.
Thirty years in the sector
Our leadership brings 30 years of experience across international recruitment, admissions, compliance and market development. That length of exposure matters for one specific reason: the sector runs in policy cycles. Caps arrive, post-study work rights shorten, evidence levels get reclassified, and each time a cohort of operators discovers the problem for the first time. We’ve seen the pattern before and we plan for the next turn of it rather than reacting to the current one.
